About Me

Have you ever said to yourself, I wish I had more time?

This is where my journey begins.  Hi! My name is Frances Walker and I am a native Texan.  Five years ago, my oldest was asking about colleges, where to go, what to major in.  In the process of answering her question, in the back of my mind, I thought – where did the time go?  I turn around and she is college bound and not a toddler throwing things at me.

I took a step back and said, I wished I had more time.  More time to spend with the kids, more time to love my animals, more time to travel.  Where did the time go?  I realized I spent all the time working and traveling for work, and that time has passed and I didn’t realize it.  So, I turned over a new leaf.  I restarted my bookkeeping and tax preparation business.  This allows me more time and flexibility to do the things I enjoy.  I have a passion for the outdoors, my pets, I am a foodie, and did I mention, I love to travel.  Having my own business has allowed me more time and flexibility to spend it on my passions.  Let me be a Genie and grant you three wishes – more time, more money, and more life?

The Family

I have three children (Samantha, Ethan, and Cyrus) and a very supportive husband (Shannon).  My two oldest are college bound.  I still get to keep one.  They orbit my world.  Then, there is my working team – my beasties.  They provide me with comfort and companionship as I spend my time working on client’s books.  They listen as I discuss finances and client issues.  They provide insight and support as I provide client solutions.   I have a Rescue Ridgeback (Bootz),  River Retriever (Rio), all personality cat (Ryu), tortoise (Leto) and two guinea pigs (Melvin and Nova).  Yes, we all love animals.  I have a passion for animals.  Come on over to my blog and find out what makes each of my team members unique and how they came to live with us.  Education and experience are of utmost importance to me.  I spend my time reading, relaxing, and learning about the outdoors, the animals, the food, and where our next adventure would be.
